What if the spinner was weird?

Premise: Add a loading state.

  1. Riley: “Use the system spinner.” One component. Already accessible.
  2. Léo: “Hear me out.” A tiny server physically carries the request across the screen.
  3. Nora: “Please don’t gamify latency.” Léo ships a prototype anyway.
  4. Analytics: Users keep triggering it on purpose. Riley stares at the chart for a very long time.

Observed behavior: Sometimes the unnecessary thing is the thing people remember.
