It worked in the demo

Premise: Let an agent manage customer support refunds.

  1. Taylor: “It can refund automatically.” The demo is excellent.
  2. Morgan: “Maximum amount?” Silence.
  3. Morgan: “Per user? Per day? Audit trail?” More silence.
  4. Taylor: “Okay. It can refund automatically… safely.” The second demo is less magical and much better.

Observed behavior: Security is often the feature that makes autonomy real.
