Continuous Integration
A pipeline that proves every change is safe, in roughly the time it takes to forget what the change was.

THE DEBATE
The room is split
If the whole team walked into the review, who would reach for Continuous Integration, and who would push back.
💖 Full pipeline, hard gate
HugoThe Perfectionist“Each of those 23 checks exists because something burned once; skipping them on the bad day makes them decoration.”
MorganThe Threat Modeler“CI is where the dependency added this morning gets scanned before it reaches production.”
AlexThe Architect“Every change, every time, through the same gate: the only rule that scales to forty teams.”
ChrisThe Sovereign“Forty minutes on his own runners is fine; what matters is the pipeline is his, not an invoice.”
🛑 Fast path first
JoThe Cowboy“Checkout is down; one line now beats forty-one minutes of a pipeline protecting the outage.”
MayaThe Visionary“Other companies are instant; waiting for CI is the bottleneck between the idea and the user.”
GregThe Hedger“Make the slow suite optional; you can always make it required again, and he likes that direction.”
