Vendor independence

Premise: Reduce dependency on third-party SaaS.

  1. Chris: “We can self-host identity, analytics, logging, email and status.” Every component is open source.
  2. Pat: “Who supports it?” Chris points at the community.
  3. Riley: “Who upgrades it?” Chris points less confidently at the community.
  4. Saturday · 02:14: Chris is applying a database migration to the identity provider. The company has successfully eliminated its vendor.
